Oddpath acquired

Oddpath was opened to the public on May 6th 2007. I spent hundreds and hundreds of hours building the system and tweaking it. Oddpath has been doing great since.

As of 18th March 2007, Oddpath is under the ownership of a private company based in Florida which has acquired it on the same day. Oddpath is now Oddpath inc. Florida. The company is planning great expansions for Oddpath and I am working with them at the moment. Oddpath is finally getting what it deserves!

I just entered the last semester of my BSc. Two more months and I will be a graduate! At the moment, I am busy working on my thesis, which falls under 'Computational linguistics' (AI, Natural language parsing..)

For the last few months, I have been particularly busy with my academics.
It gets worse day by day! My sincere apologies to everyone whom my absence might have disappointed or caused inconveniences. Sorry!

On a special note,

Words.la is a part of my research work and hopefully, it'll be of some use to someone, some day!

The all new (amazing) Microsoft Surface !

Yeah yeah, Microsoft haters have already started bragging about the so called ubiquitous notority of Microsoft ripping things. Yeah, folks built interactive surfaces long ago, even highschool science fares showed a fair bit of work, and hence, Microsoft stole the idea right? Wrong.

Innovation != Invention !

Microsoft hasn't claimed to have invented the Interactive table, they just built a new,better and really 'awesome' version.

Thats all I wanted to say.

Commentful, end of another tale

I built and deployed Commentful July last year. It has done well since, I am happy for the fact that it has served its users well.

Commentful was acquired by Bloggy Network this January and they just rebuilt and released BlogFlux Commentful with added features and functionalities. Kudos !

Unfortunately, I donot have any statistics from 2006. This year Jan 2007 to March 2007, Commentful.com served 8853009 requests. Yes, 8.8 million requests. I am surprised myself by Commentful's performance, despite its size (here's a secret. The Commentful software was roughly above 100KB).

I love you Commentful. And I honestly miss you ;(
